I'm not a hardcore The Shins fan (sorry, Natalie Portman!), but I did play the shit out of the album 'Wincing The Night Away' for a good solid year or so when it came out. The lyrics to this song still act as my rallying call when I'm doubting myself or feeling down. James Mercer is a lyrical genius.
